Mid August/September/October 2019 I will be opening my home up
for childcare. I will be open from 7:30-5:00, however pick-up times can be discussed if need be.
I am located around Mearns/Longworth/Apple Blossom with a fully fenced backyard and a park directly in front of my house
I have been a Nanny, an Au Pair (Nanny abroad in Venice, Italy) and have also worked in a public daycare. Before having my son I was a Flight Attendant where I was trained as "CPR and First Aid - Health Care Provider", which means I have completed extensive training in working with people having heart attacks, strokes, heat stroke, dehydration, burns, allergic reactions, etc.(sudden and severe medical emergencies). I have also completed Live Firefighting, dangerous good, and WHIMIS courses. I myself have an Epipen, so I am fully aware how/when to use them.
I am looking to take on one child under 24 months, and one-two over 24 months. I currently have an 8 1/2 month old son who will be one in September!
I will be running a fully educational program that follows a play-based structure, with most of our daily activities consisting of morning circle time, songs, stories, letters and numbers, weather and seasons, fine and gross motor skills, arts and crafts, music, and theatre(dress up). We will also be spending as much time as possible outside playing and exploring. My hope is to help your child develop the skills – mentally, emotionally, and intellectually – needed for a successful transition into kindergarten.
I will be providing breakfast for those who arrive before 8:30, as well as lunch and snacks.
We are a smoke free/pet free home.
