We are a couple fully dedicated to providing your precious child(ren) with Educare that aims to support children in becoming a human being with a strong sense of well-being.
We believe in growing in nature so we take children out for natural walk in nice weather and observe and appreciate the beauty of plants and animals.
We believe in reading and singing so we provide books on children's emergent interests and songs that go along with their interests and activities.
We believe in a strong physical foundation for children and we provide freshly cooked food, physical activities and ZERO SCREEN TIME (Too much screen-time also negatively affects children's attention span, natural socio-emotional development and more).
Ida: registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE), and M.Ed. in Developmental Psychology and Education from U of T.
Former TDSB kindergarten full-time ECE;
Former American HighScope Preschool Program certified trainer
20+ years in educational field (Current first aid & CPR and police check)
James: 20+ years in food industry and a former university athlete (Current police check).
We are located in the vicinity of Finch & Kennedy major intersection. We're currently a licensed daycare.
