Hello! I am a mother of 3, and decided to open my daycare after baby #3. My daycare is in our family home, and I have been in operation for over 3 years now, and have had years of experience working with children. I am unlicensed, as it doesn't make sense for me to pay into with such a small daycare, so you would not qualify for subsidy. However I do claim this as a small business, so you will recieve a yearly receipt for your income tax purposes. My home is baby-proofed from when my children were babies.
I provide lots of playtime in a clean and safe environment. I also include storytime, drawing and colouring, crafts and practicing printing for those old enough. We do lots of dancing and singing as well! I also encourage and work with the older children in preparing for the transition into Junior Kindergarden.
I also am a certified yoga teacher, and offer children's yoga during the day.
There is daily outdoor time, weather permitting. I have a fully fenced backyard, however we normally trek off to one of the three fantastic parks nearby. There is a 4th we go to as a special treat as it is a bit further, but well worth the trip! (Due to Covid, we have been staying closer to home, walks and playtime in the backyard.)
We have a morning and afternoon snack, and a healthy lunch. A quiet and clean room is used for naptimes if your child requires them. I am able to accommodate babies as young as 10 months, I have a baby swing, 2 playpens, bouncy chairs and other age appropriate toys and furnature for them.
I am open to teacher's schedule, however the pay schedule and amounts will differ.
I charge $175/week flat rate. There are a few exceptions that will be discussed.
I have a full contract we will go over together if you are interested beforehand, and I will also send home a package with all the information I will need to take care of your little one!
Yearly receipts are provided.

We have a pet friendly home, a lazy cat, he is excellent with children and loves the attention.
We also have a new puppy, she is a great pyrenees, and learning the ropes quickly! |
