My name is Monica Richard.
I have been running my day care licensed to Region of Waterloo for the past 13 years on 148 Bridge Street West (at University and Bridge intersection). I accumulated 23 years of experience in education back home in Europe and worked for 1 year with pre-school children in Manitoba. I am first aid and CPR certified.
Also, my whole house is set up for a child’s environment with a fenced backyard filled with playground toys, napping/quite time area and an inside playing area.
More importantly, I provide healthy snacks and cooked food that is catered to the every child (considering allergies and age).
My daycare programme includes circle time, indoor and outdoor playing, nap time, story time, singing time, trips in the park and other activities organized by the Region of Waterloo.
