Dear parents and guardians,
My home daycare, Start Smart, is located in a single family home with a colourful playroom dedicated for the children. The playroom is complete with two large windows that allows for beautiful sunlight and an emergency exit door which leads directly outside. I have a large fenced in backyard with swings, a play structure, and plenty of room to be active and play games! My home is also located minutes from the CHEO hospital, the Museum of Science & Technology, the library, and various parks.
At Carmen's Start Smart Daycare, I provide children with a safe and warm environment, and I ensure that each child goes home with a smile on their face. Children are also provided with nutritious meals and snacks made with fresh ingredients. Our daily activities include gardening, playing games that promote learning, making crafts, taking walks, dancing, creative play, and reading.
I have been affiliated with a childcare Agency for close to 20 years, and I've been caring for children for over 25 years. I'm fully trained in first aid and CPR, and have certifications in various subjects such as "ABCs and 123s," "What to Expect at Different Ages," "Early Literacy Book Making," and more! |
