Hello,
I am Tara, resident in the Waterdown neighborhood in the new division.
I have over of fourteen years of home daycare experience. I also have a diploma in Early Childhood Education, and have worked at various daycares across the GTA.
My most recent experience is as an Educational Assistant with the Halton District School Board for the last four years. Lots of experience working with kids, as well as with kids who require special needs as well. We go through intense training process, and are educated via various seminars, and workshops on being better caregivers, and working with all types of different children. I am First Aid & CPR Certified, and have taken Behaviour Management Workshops and various other certifications through the Halton District School Board.
I live in a comfortably large home, with ample room for kids to play, learn and grow. I have setup special areas for the kids where they do various different activities which I plan for them.
With parents consent, I have lots of hands-on activities planned, such as arts and crafts, reading, I also do story time once a day, as well as some screen time to use technology. We have a large backyard allowing kids to play outside. There is also a beautiful park just down the street. With taking into COVID-19 SOP's and precautions.
This is truly my passion and I love working with kids. Being a mother of three myself, I have seen it all and understand kids.
