DAYCARE available in my home as of September 3, 2019. I am highly experienced with children of all ages, and am a registered teacher with the OCT. I am looking to provide daycare in my home to preschool children. Highly motivated and caring, your child’s comfort and social development are my priorities. Give your child quality care, that includes interactive play, a small adult-child ratio, emphasis on language development, number skills, creative activities and games. Nutritious snacks and lunch are provided. This is a clean and quiet family home, in a residential neighbourhood of Stoney Creek. Police check and references upon request.
MY BACKGROUND: I have a B.Ed. and B.A. in English, Sociology and minor in Psychology. I have extensive experience with children of all ages, including almost 20 yrs experience with Primary, Junior and Intermediate-Senior students. My qualifications include studies / experience with a child’s social and cognitive development, and preparing a variety of age-based and interactive, fun, creative activities. Kids need positive interaction and a small group guarantees individualized attention every day.
PERSONAL INFO: I’m a mom with lots of great strategies for happy times:) Safety is a priority, but so is engaging and having fun, building friendships and resolving conflict.
ACTIVITIES during your child’s stay in my home: crafts, play, story time, dance and daily visits to the parkette just outside my backyard (weather permitted). My backyard is small, full visibility at all times, and is enclosed with a lock system - out of reach of little hands.
