Balanced Children holds a Mind, Body and Spirit approach to learning from ages 18 months to 6 years of age. Balanced Children is inspired by a Reggio and Waldorf curriculum. Balanced Children is not licensed through the Ministry of Education. Balanced Children welcomes all families regardless of race, religion, disabilities, sexual orientation, disability and gender identity.
We believe in partnering up with the families and working as a team. We value respect, open communication and having realistic goals to help the child become as independent, caring, empathetic and become a master of their own thinking. Balanced Children believes in encouraging the child to become their own unique person that has a growth mindset through life. We want children to become the healthiest version of themselves and have fun along the way. Inclusions and Mindfulness are the keys to our program to build a solid foundation for life long learning.
Balanced Children believes in creating an environment that encourages the child to be there true self. We believe children are capable and competent and we want to enhance their sense of purpose and independence to become the best version of themselves. Low ratios will be maintained so children can get the attention, love and recognition to learn and grow. We believe in teaching children how to have fun through learning different academic activities throughout the day. Teaching children through movement, healthy eating, exploring a growth mindset and having natural consequences will help develop the child's sense of identity. We want children to have a solid foundation of building connections to themselves to live a healthy, peaceful and fulfilled life.

Welcome to Balanced Children. My name is Maria Falcao. I have my Early Childhood Education diploma and Early Childhood Education Resource Certificate. I am registered with the College of Early Childhood Education. I have been in the field for 17 years. I am certificated in Child and Adult First Aid and CPR. I have my Reiki one and two. A criminal reference check is also provided.Pet friendly home. All pets are friendly.
