I have been doing childcare for the last two years in my own home and prior to that I worked in a daycare centre as well as a Nanny position caring for two children prior to that. I would be elated to open my doors to your family.
I have a Social Service Worker diploma and a university degree in sociology, but when I had my kids, I decided to take some time off and stay home with them and I am so happy with that decision. Everyday is a new day and both myself and the children learn something new. I have a 2 year old boy and 4.5 year old girl who is in school.
With my in home daycare, we love outdoor play if the weather allows it. I believe kids can be themselves when they’ve got fresh air and open space. When we’re not outside, you can find us inside doing a craft, reading a book, practicing our letters and numbers, singing songs, and enjoying free play. On the occasional Friday, they have the privilege of watching a movie if they have earned it. Sometimes we even do some baking.
I will provide two healthy snacks and a well balanced lunch.

My hours are from 7am-5pm, and we are located in the Uplands area. As I know daycare fees can be quite expensive, I have chosen not to charge the regular rate. Monthly it is $800/month which works out to be about $35/day.
