Our house is located on a quiet court in Rosemount/Heritage Park (close to Stanley Park, Idlewood, Chicopee). The preschool has a dedicated playroom and a large fenced in backyard.
More about me and the care I provide:
-our daily schedule incorporates a mixture of structured play-based learning activities and unstructured play to aid in the development of intellectual, emotional, and physical skills.
-I have a PhD in biology and love teaching STEM through age appropriate experiments, games, and activities
- we participate in library programs weekly
- we read throughout the day to encourage and facilitate early literacy and learning. I also use children's literature to inspire activities, arts and crafts.
- physical activity is an important part of our day. We stay active by going on walks, dancing, playing sports and jumping on the bouncy castle!
- we spend as much time as possible outside in the backyard, local parks or neighbourhood walks.
- children are given opportunities to build confidence, self-expression, and creativity.
- I provide daily written reports to keep you informed about their day.
