Located in a private home in the Eglinton/Mt Pleasant area close to Leaside, this is a high quality home child care centre for up to five children only. Advance reservations may be considered on a first come first served basis. It is just a short walk to area schools, steps to TTC and with on-street parking for drop off.
Bright, warm cheerful main floor space. Large fenced-in back yard and a short walk to a children's playground.
Your childcare provider is a university educated, certified Montessori teacher as well as experienced day care provider. She has completed courses in First Aid and CPR as well as Safe Food Handling. She has also been employed for three years by the City of Toronto as a children's program supervisor, and regularly passed security screening, as has the other adult on site.
The location has been thoroughly considered for child safety. There is a library of hundreds of top-rated children's books as well as music to share with your child. Your child will get a real head start on reading here!
The centre has Montessori learning and play items as well as other high quality wooden toys and equipment. The Montessori approach to learning and development is very child-centred and practical as well as very intellectually stimulating.
The home is a smoking free zone. No dogs or cats on site.
Your child's daily schedule will include:
o circle time with reading, stories, and music and songs (English/French)
o arts and crafts, painting and drawing
o creative free play
o exercise time, yoga postures, seasonal activities
o individual attention
o theme based learning and fun activities
Healthy Organic food - breakfast, lunch and two snacks - is included.
2024 fees include all of the above, and receipts are provided. $1500 monthly for toddlers over 18 months, $1600 monthly for infants. Part time, occasional, weekend and emergency child care may also be available. Electronic payments accepted, no stress or extra fees for occasional late pickups. Please inquire for more details.
