Welcome to Auntie Pickles Dayhome an auburn Bay private run dayhome. My name is Jessica Suecroft and I have been running my private dayhome for over 5 years. I can from a culinary arts background but switched to childcare to be closer to my nieces and nephews. From there forth I have been excited to work with young children and give them a home away from home.
I have my childcare first aid and CPR as well as a police clearance certificate. It is a pet friendly home with a dog and a cat which are great assets to the daycare cuddling with children and giving them confidence.
I prefer lots of outdoor time even in the winter weather permitting. We do lots of picnics, scavenger hunts, trips to the library, and loads of park time. We do circle time, crafts, art projects, science experiments, and hands on play. Throughout the day we like to listen to music, dance, sing and do mini yoga sessions. I use bucket filling techniques to encourage friendly, helpful behaviour.
I have also been a girl guides Brownie leader and currently a tball coach( which I’ve been coaching for 3 years now).
