Welcome to Little Lambs Home Daycare. My name is Dolinda and I have been operating a home daycare since 1995. I get asked over and over if I am tired of working with children. I can honestly answer NO. I will never tire of a young child in my arms. I have lots of patience and a sense of humour which goes a long way in working with young children.
I strive to provide a safe, happy and healthy, family style home environment, where children can grow physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.
Each child is nurtured and encouraged to explore, create, achieve and have pride in their own successes.
As your child grows, I give them responsibility and teach them cooperation, manners and respect. I prepare them for kindergarten with their ABC's and numbers. I have lots of fun toys and play based learning activities for all ages.
We have structure in our day: stories, music, exercise time, crafts and games but there is also lots of time for free play, dress up and creative play.
I have a six-seater stroller that I love to take the children out for walks in.
I have a large spacious backyard to run and play.
I provide separate sleeping rooms for those children who need naps.
I provide two nutritious snacks and a hot lunch daily.
I am open from 7:30 am to 5 pm but can be flexible with the time if need be.
As Covid-19 has closed daycare centers and many home daycares followed, I have chosen to keep this essential service running for the community with many safety measures in place. If you depend on this service in these uncertain times, I would love to work with you.
I have gone over and above to help families out over the years. This is not just a job to me, but a passion to give my best service to your family.
My references are available upon request. I have both a Police Check and an updated First Aid/ CPR Certificate. I have taken many courses with CCPRN (Child Care Providers Resource Network) over the years. I am fully insured for my daycare. We are a smoke and pet free home. |
