Hello, my name is Lindsay and I have recently chosen to be a stay-at-home mom and effective September 2020 will operate an independent (unlicensed) daycare from our home. We are located in the area of Bridge Street and University Avenue in Waterloo. I am a mother of two little ones; a 2-year-old and 4-year-old.
My goal is to be a place where kids love to spend time and a place where parents feel great about leaving their child while they are at work.
A little about my home daycare:
- Care available on a full or part-time basis
- Open from 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Daycare follows a calendar of activities/learning themes
- Daily routine: free play, walk to school drop-up, morning snack, activity/craft, meal time, nap/quite time, afternoon snack, walk to school pickup, outdoor play/gross motor play
Our playroom is bright and cozy. We have lots of toys which rotate on a regular basis. Our backyard is a good size for play. There is currently a small climbing structure with slide, sand/water table, and riding toys. We also always have an abundance of bubbles and chalk. There is a park within walking distance from our house and the neighbourhood itself is kid friendly. |

Must love dogs. Our family has a dog (boxer/bulldog mix), who is great with the kids!
We walk to school for drop-off between 8:45am-9:15am and again for pick-up between 3:20pm and 3:50pm. Daycare drop-off's and pick-ups must occur outside these times. |
