Lighthouse Kids Care provides home based quality Child Care that engage children in rich play-based learnings. Play-based learning nurtures children's curious minds and unique identity. It encourages imaginative explorations in a safe, caring and happy environment.
We provide daily routines and activities based on children's interests to foster life long learning. Children develop skills that are instrumental in their social, emotional, cognitive and physical development in accordance with Flight: Alberta's Early Learning and Care Curriculum framework.
We are an approved family day home program that embraces the diversity embedded within families in our community.
• Subsidies are available for families that qualify
• Special prices are available for two or more children from the same family
• In order to ensure that the quality of care is met and maintained, Approved Family Day Homes are monitored in-person through monthly, unannounced visits
About the Owner and Educator:
I have a Masters degree and over a decade experience in Solid Minerals and Banking Industry. Having had my children, I developed strong interest in their development. This encouraged me to study Early Learning and Child Care at Bow valley College Calgary.
I am a qualified Childcare Supervisor in the field of Early Childhood Education.
I am passionate about supporting children to develop fundamental skills that will support their growth well beyond their school days
I have First Aid and CPR Certifications together with a current police clearance.
Hours of operations between 7am- 5.30pm Monday – Friday (Weekend Negotiable)
