I am a mom of 3 girls including a 7 year old and 3yr old twins. I have worked in child care field for over 20 years including foster care, group homes, nanny, daycare centres and worked as an EA with OCDSB for the last 7 years until my twins were born.
I have my Social Service worker diploma and ECE courses. I also have my first aid/CPR and vulnerable police check.
Your child will feel at home in my home daycare. We have a main floor play area and a basement playroom room set up with many toys and activities. We are fully vaccinated except for the twins as they are still too young. We are very COVID cautious with cleaning and sanitizing daily and as needed. Each child will l have their own bin with crayons, play dough, colouring book, etc. Staggered entry and pick up so that parents/children are not all at the door at once for safety and privacy purposes.
I prepare healthy 2 snacks and lunch daily. We learn our letters, colours, shapes and numbers throughout play, stories and songs. We have a fenced in backyard with play structure, covered sandbox, smaller slide for our little friends and many other toys for outdoor play. We go for walks/wagon ride around our neighbourhood.
We have a flexible daily routine.
I follow the school calendar schedule. Closed Christmas break, March break and can be available for casual summer care. Closed during STAT holidays.
My hours are Monday to Friday 8-4:30 and can accommodate if needed.
