TEACHER FAMILIES:
No charge for school vacations! For example if you are a teacher you will not pay for the entire summer holiday and still be guaranteed a spot for September!
Please note that the daycare is closed on New Years Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Boxing Day. Also closed for March Break, Summer Break (limited availability), and Christmas Break.
•Hours: 7:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
•Activities: Story time (various books to choose from), Learning time (Letters, numbers, shapes, colours, seasons etc), Arts & Crafts (construction paper, finger painting, paper bag puppets, popsicle sticks, & more), Outdoor play time, Songs/Nursery rhymes, Dance, Whiteboard & Chalk Board available for learning activities
•Meals/Snacks: Hot nutritious lunches provided if applicable (e.g. stews & soups, meats with rice/poatoes/veggies, stirfry), healthy snacks (e.g. fruit, vegetables, yogurt, rice cakes). I ask parents to provide me with a list of things their child(ren) likes to eat and base my weekly menu on that!
Homecooked meals are served at (if applicable can be altered based on needs/hours):
8:00am-8:30am-breakfast
10:00am-10:30am morning snack
12:30pm-1:00pm lunch
3:30pm-4:00pm afternoon snack
A weekly menu is provided!
Typical Day includes:
~circle time
~craft time
~naps for those who need them
~free play
~reading
~outdoor play (weather permitting)
~music
~learning time, and more!!
I have an open door policy. You are more than welcome to drop by any time to visit your child and welcome for lunch any day if you are available! You can call as many times as you like as well to check up on your child!
About Me: I have been doing home daycare in Milton since 2006. I use various ECE & teacher resources in my daycare. I have an Honours with Distinction BA from UofT. I was born in Ontario in the late 70s. I can provide a police background check for myself and my husband. I am fully certified in infant/child CPR and First Aid (certificate available). I can speak basic French as well and would be happy to teach your children the basics! I have two children of my own, in JK and Grade 1.

Must love pets: we have a bichon frise dog (hypoallergenic, doesn't shed, 10 lb dog)
Must be a teacher family as daycare is closed during all school breaks
I have cared for children with multiple allergies (gluten, eggs, peanuts, etc) and am fully trained on how to use an epipen.
