From 1978 - 1990, I cared for more than 10 children aged 6 months to 9 years old on both a full-time and part-time basis. From 1990 to 2014, I worked in various positions at Sears Canada, Nortel Networks and Hunter Douglas Canada. In late 2014, I returned to the childcare field and have most recently provided care for children aged 12 months - 7 years old. I have 5 children and 12 grandchildren and in my many years of experience, I know that each child is special and deserves the best of care.
Child-rearing Philosophy
I offer an engaging and interactive play-based environment that values children’s learning. I encourage children to learn through exploration, play, inquiry, communication and expression. My main focus is creating and supporting caring relationships between children, adults and families.
I also have an updated CPR and First Aid Certificate (available upon request) and private daycare insurance.
