I have been providing childcare for over 38 years, while raising 7 of my own children (30 to 38).
10 Years ago, my husband retired from being a teen counselor and the both of us along with our daughter now run our day home.
The bottom of our home is fully set up for childcare as well as a safe and well equipped outside play area. Along with a structured schedule such as story time, crafts, singing circle; the children learn to socialize and share during supervised free play time. We take great joy in being with the children everyday and consider our selves lucky to be able to have such a wonderful and full filling job. Being older daycare providers the children in our home become like our surrogate grandchildren
Although we spend a lot of time outdoors, we do not do field trips as the children can play safely in our outside play yard.
Our fees include 2 snacks, and a nutritious lunch. We have excellent references, from both current and past daycare parents. We are offering care Mon to Fri @ a rate of $1200 per month full-time. 3 days per week $900.00
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE CLOSED FOR THE FIRST 2 WEEKS OF JULY EVERY YEAR, 2 WEEKS AT CHRISTMAS, FOUR DAYS IN MAY AND ALL STATS. These holidays remain the same every year so you must have back up care available for these times. Our commitment to your children is taken very seriously and we treat each child with the individual love and attention they deserve. As older adults with grown children and grandchildren of our own, we fully understand the concern by parents to have a loving and safe environment for their children while at work. We strive to make each child that attends our day home a part of our extended family and look forward to a life long relationship with both child and parents. The pure joy of being part of a child's life makes our daily experiences so worthwhile.
Admission conditions
All parents must read through our extensive day home package, which can be viewed on our website. If interested an interview will be arranged between the day home, both parents, and child.
All children must be up to date with their vaccinations.
It is very important that parents and day home have the same philosophies in regards to childcare.
