Hey Everyone !
My name is Amanda, The Founder Of Couts Coop Home Daycare. To share a little bit about myself, I am a proud Mother to 3 👦🏻👧🏼👦🏼 excluding my sweet little fur baby🐱. On my spare time I love creating memories with my family and friends, have a huge love for cooking while enjoying a little reality tv and some occasional splurges at homesense.
Why I decided to start Couts Coop you may ask? Being one of the first friends in my friend group to have her kids at a young age I had to endure the hardship of finding childcare for my oldest son was the hardest time for me. Knowing he was not only going to be out of my care for long period of time durning the day but finding the trust in a complete stranger to care for my child as best as I would was such a hard ask of me as a mom let alone any parent. Fast forward to having my daughter and becoming a single parent shortly after I had to think quickly of how it would be possible for me to not only sustain an income for myself and my children but be able to find a child care affordable to make that possible. Well it was... After what seemed to be months of searching I found a few home daycares over the year's living in Mississauga willing to work with me while also providing amazing care for my children.
Fast forward to now, while my friends are starting to have their kids and they are having a hard time finding childcares for various reasons ( ie its either overpopulated/ waitlisted, overpriced and just not living up to their standards). I started listening to each and every one of my friends challenges who were looking for care and converted Cout Coop into a place where I can be everything they need for their child when they are in my hands. I wanted to be the friend to help my friends and give them the help that was hard for me to find durning that period in my life.
My goal in opening up Cout's Coop is to relate to all parents that come through my daycare. To really sympathize that this step in their childs life as well as their life as parents, it isnt easy finding a childcare that best suits there needs as well as their childs. But, to also ease that stress for them with great understanding and expectation of the child care I will lead in hopes to be able to provide that for every parent and child that comes through my care.
I pride myself knowing all meals are home made and prepared with love for the proper nutrition our kids need to grow and develop. Also with our littles growing I try to challenge there brains with sensory activities as well as learning exercises to keep them on track for when they start JK. ( Colours, Numbers, ABC's, 123's, Matching, Reading, Arts, Crafts and a lot of Hand Eye Dexterity Play) * LIMITED SCREEN TIME
While the weather is nice we will be taking advantage and diving into some outdoor fun as much as we can.

Cat friendly house. She is not in daycare or near area during operating hours. She is VERY friendly and poses absolutely no risk. She will be in hiding or in an alternative area of house while daycare is running. |
