Hi, I am a mom of two, grandmother of two, offering unlicensed daycare in my home for children 10mos to 4yrs of age. Retired husband is normally home in case I need to use the bathroom or while making meals/snacks.
Children here learn mostly through play, indoors and out. Some of the children do crafts, paint, colour and do science experiments, depending on age and skills. We have a few sensory bins, kinetic sand, noodles.
We work on counting and alphabet through songs mostly.
Naps are a must, we keep children very active so even if they don't nap at home, they do here.
Some of the older children enjoy baking and gardening with me.
I do help with potty training but the child must be able to tell me they have to go.
Admission conditions
I do have 2 cats(not usually near rhe children) and 3 dogs.
