Sherrie's Kids is a Licensed Family Daycare that has been open since 2002. The Daycare is located near Knight Street and 49th Avenue in Vancouver.
Sherrie's Kids is run by a mother of two, and a full-time assistant. We are registered, have first aid, 10+ years childcare experience, criminal record checks, current liability insurance, Family Child Care Training, and knowledge of Sign Language and Deaf Culture. We are a safe, loving, Community-based Family Daycare.
We encourage fun, cooperation and respect. Our main goal is to teach independence and self-help skills, encourage creative expression, improve social skills, and most of all...have fun!! We offer a day filled with both indoor and outdoor play, learning activities, free play, dance, arts and crafts, quiet/naptime, and outings to the library, parks, playgroup, music class, etc.
We ensure that watchful supervision is provided for all indoor and outdoor activities. We can be open for extended hours in the evenings, and weekends (especially for occasional child care).
As of September 2007, we will offer Beforeschool, Afterschool & Kindercare at Douglas Annex Elementary School.
We have one full time space available May 1, 2007 for a child over 18 months; however, we may accept a child under 18 months. Please contact us for more information. |
