The kids enjoy a regular routine consisting of play (both indoor and out), healthy meals and snacks, rest, and more play! We are a heavily sports oriented family and this is reflected in our daily daycare activities. Education is very important to us as well, so if there's a way we can tie the two together, we do it.
My own children are 6 (attending Katimavik Elementary (SK)), 3 (will begin JK at Katimavik in Sept '08), and 10 (in grade 4).
We are within walkig distance of several great parks, but don't often find it necessary to use them, as we have a great set up here in our big, fenced, back yard (swingset, playhouse, picnic table, sand/water table, sprinklers, portable basketball nets, hockey nets, etc.).
I contract privately and am also licensed through an agency. While I have no formal ECE background (my B.Sc. from Cornell is in Business Management), I have tons of experience with kids through coaching, etc. I have also helped develop and pilot training programs to teach other daycare providers. |

2 Spaces are available beginning immediately. These spaces are for temporary care, as the daycare will be closing in mid-August, as I will be returning to University to obtain my B.Ed.
