I am an experienced mother of 4 children aged 21 months to 21 years. After the birth of my third child, I made the decision to become a stay at home parent. I began my daycare business when a good friend was going back to work after mat leave and approached me about providing care for her two children. Since September of 2007 I have filled my spots purely by word of mouth, and my excellent references from my children's parents.
I offer a scheduled routine filled with free play in my large playroom, hands on activities such as crafts and early learning concepts, and outdoor play. We have quiet time after lunch for a few hours, as it is my belief that little ones need quiet time to rest and recharge their growing minds and bodies.
I provide nutritious snacks, at set times thru the day but food is also always provided when a child is hungry! Breakfast and lunch are provided and home cooked with nutrition my number one priority.
Your children are important to me, and as a formerly career oriented parent, I struggled daily with leaving my children to go to work. I understand the challenges involved in finding excellent quality child care in a loving environment, which is why I am proud of my excellent references and word of mouth recommendations.
