When a parent must work it is hard to find that perfect place where they can leave their children. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and developmentally encouraging environment for the children in my care. My numbers are kept a little smaller then typical home based care in order to accomodate field trips and outings for the children. I have an extensive plan of care which includes meal plans, weekly themes for a year, activities for each of those themes, and a variety of daily activities to aid in the further developemnt of the children. Our daily activities could include arts & crafts, science exploration, circle time, imagination play, outdor play, baking/cooking, literacy, trips to the park and play groups, etc. The MOST important thing to me however is that all the children feel welcome and safe in the environment I provide.
I have a seperate play room for the children's play and exploration. However the entire main floor will be open to the children. There is also a large fenced in backyard with several children's toys including ride ons, a play house, and a climber.
I can offer full time, part time, flexible, and before/After care to either Trafalgar Public School or Holy Cross. I operate on regular hours of 7:30 am - 5:30 pm... but do have extended hours starting at 6 am and extending past 5:30 pm on a case by case scenario.
Any child in care for the summer months will need to be able to travel in my van. *** I WILL BE PROVIDING A SUMMER MEMBERSHIP TO STORYBOOK GARDENS FOR EACH CHILD IN CARE THIS YEAR !!*** |

We have a pool and a trampoline. They will not be used unless written consent is given by all daycare parents, but I feel it is something important to know. We also have a chocolate lab, and although she may be in another area of the house it is important that parents be aware that she is a part of our family:-) |
