Welcome to my home daycare, Parents!
I'd love to look after little ones, but at this time it is necessary for me to look after my adorable granddaughter, who would so enjoy being in her French school, but no thanks to the current pandemic, is keeping me good company. I so wish there'd be another child aged 6-8 who'd keep her company, while we do some school curriculum, play, do some arts and crafts, enjoy the outdoors, and have some fun.
My spacious home is pet- and smoke-free. There's a large balcony off the kitchen area, with a nice view, a spacious, safe garden and carpet-free space dedicated for the children.
I have a lot of love and patience and current certification in Standard First Aid, CPR and AED, a valid police check, daycare insurance, and a portfolio of childcare-related courses. I also have a current Ottawa Food Handler Certificate and BC and have completed fire safety training. I am a long-time member of Child Care Providers Resource Network, and my home is pet, smoke and alcohol-free.
My fee is $55 a day full-time (or $10 hourly part-time). I offer a well-thought out plan of daycare activities, both indoors and outside, and provide fresh and delicious meals which are carefully prepared in accordance with the Canada Food Guide, with lots of flexibility.
I am an independent home childcare provider whose programme is not licenced by the Government of Ontario, thus there is a limit of two little ones under the age of two years of age, and three children between the age of two and five years of age.
