I have worked as an educational assistant for the past 10 years and have recently become the mother of two small children. I want to open my home to working parents and their children as I understand how hard it can be to have to work outside of the home. My experience in working with a variety of children over the past years allows me to feel confident in my decision to provide care for children in my home. In our home we live a very healthy and active life. This will be reflected in the daily schedule of your children while they are here. Our day will include circle time, crafts, active indoor and outdoor play, trips to the park, nap or quiet time and time for free play. I will provide two snacks and lunch each day that will include a variety of foods from all of the food groups. I have a large fenced yard and live within a short walk to three parks. There are many home daycares in the area so your child will have the opportunity to meet and play with a variety of children while at the park. I am in the John Young and St. Martin De Porres school zones (right across the street from John Young Elementary school). My husband is in the education field which is why I will be closed over some school holidays and for part of the summer as I want to be able to spend some family time together as well. My home is smoke free and we do have one cat who is friendly with children. I have CPR, first aid and police check. Please contact me if you have any questions or want to set up a time to meet. I look forward to hearing from you.
