I am a homeschooling mother of 3 boys ages 16, 10, and 3 I am also an experienced child care provider. I graduated from Grande Prairie Regional College with a diploma in Early Childhood Development in 1994. Since then, I have worked in child care centres and as a dayhome provider. I am also involved with the children's program in our church.
I strive to provide a warm, loving environment for each of the children in my care. I encourage growth and development in all areas and do so by promoting a learning through play program with open ended activities.
I have been a dayhome provider with It's A Child's World for 11 years. I have had many long-term children in my care. Some for as long as 7 years. I am considering moving to a new location within Edmonton and some of my current children will be unable to move with me due to school bus restrictions and such. I will have openings starting in January 2012 and have included the new address in this listing. I will be offering interviews to those who are interested but the interviews will be held in my current location as I have not yet moved.
I will consider taking children in the evenings and on weekends.
Full-time rate is $640.00 per month.
Out-of-school care rate is $375.00

Since I am a homeschooling parent and a dayhome provider I like to spend time away from the house when schedules permit. I like to participate in a variety of activities, such as, going to the library, indoor play facilities (when it is cold outside), attending parades, going to the sprinkler parks, etc.
