I provide exceptional child care in a loving, pet friendly home with a low adult to child ratio. Children will experience fun, educational, and age appropriate games, toys, and activities including lots of outdoor play and scheduled outings to zoos, parks, libraries and other exhibits relevant to the children’s interests. Healthy meals and snacks are prepared daily using natural and organic ingredients. All of this, and more, in a great family environment!
I have 13 years experience as a parent, 6 years experience homeschooling, and 4 years experience as a nanny caring for 6 children (not including my own!) aged newborn to 12 years. I have plenty of experience in planning, developing, and implementing activities & curriculum for children of all ages. That being said I am more than willing to assist with homework & projects when needed.
I'm also a 2nd year E.C.E. student at Durham College, and have 1 year of Culinary studies through George Brown College. All meals are prepared safely & properly using the freshest and healthiest ingredients available. I can cater to both wheat and dairy allergies, though it would be difficult (given our personal diets) to cater to a peanut/nut allergy.
We are located in a lovely detached home, full of character and charm, and have a nicely shaded yard all to ourselves. There is a library & community centre, as well as a few parks, within safe & easy walking distance.
All-day (6 hours or more) rates begin at $35 a day, and half-day (5 hours or less) rates begin at $25 a day. Rates are guaranteed for one year, and are all inclusive (including field trips)!
