As of September 1, I have 1 opening for a child between the ages of 3-11 years. I only accept children who are 3 and older. I have a van and am able to transport your children to a nearby school if needed. I would charge the same fee as the school bus. This would be in addition to your parent fees.
Note: If you have a school-aged child who has been diagnosed ADD/ADHD, dayhomes are the perfect environment for them. They provide the low stimulus environment they need to be able to function. I have experience in dealing with these children. Call me to see if your child would be a fit for my dayhome.
New Dayhome Open in North Edmonton
I am the caring mother of a four year old boy and have recently chosen to stay at home with him. Opening a dayhome has also been part of that decision. I know that my 18 years of experience working with children will enable me to create a loving atmosphere, in which your children can thrive. The energy that children have gives me energy and watching them succeed and grow in whatever they are doing, gives me a great deal of satisfaction. As a result, I will provide an educational program that will be tailored to your children's needs and ecourage them to explore the world around them.
I have a BA. in Child and Youth Care and a Level 3 Certification. I also have my Child Care First Aid. Moreover, I am operating under an accredited dayhome agency, which means that I will be monitored by a consultant at least once a month to ensure that I am providing a safe and nuturing environment for your children.
In addition, I cook from scratch and buy very few processed foods. You can be sure that your children will receive the best nutrition during the day.
There is a lot of green space around my home and I live within walking distance to the following:

*Castledowns Spray Park
*Major General Greisbach Elementary School
*Two really good playgrounds
I am also within very short driving distance to the Grand Trunk and O'Leary Leisure Centres.
