Giggles 'n Grins Home Childcare is located on Duke St. in Brantford, ON and has been operating since September 2006. My name is Lianne Matheson and I have been working with children for 20 years, first as a nanny and now in home daycare. I chose to open a home daycare because I love working with children in a home environment.
At Giggles 'n Grins Home Childcare, your child will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities which promote all aspects of their cognitive, social and emotional development. I believe in helping children learn independence and self help skills.
Children are offered choices whenever possible because choices help a child feel they are in control of their life. On the flip side, they will also come to understand that a choice, or the choice they want, is not always possible.
I believe that communicating with children is vital. It helps them understand what is expected of them, why things in their environment are happening and it teaches them to communicate in return so they can express themselves and their concerns.
I am committed to providing educational, stimulating and enjoyable care for your child. I hope, that while in my care, parents will never worry about their child's safety, development or happiness.
