As a mother, teacher, and experienced home daycare provider I strive to treat each child that comes into our home with love, patience, positive reinforcement, discipline and a routine that gives them security. I try my best to give them a home environment that they can feel comfortable in while continuing to grow and learn.
Specifically I also work to provide:
*advance menu's - all good healthy food, no processed food
*weekly progress reports (includes pictures of your kids throughout the week)
*a theme for each week - past themes have been feelings, things that move, numbers, letters. We try to read books and do activities and crafts to match the theme. I'm always open to suggestions and love extra helpers.
*outdoor activity - swingset, sandbox, playhouse, toddler slides, outdoor kitchen, toolbench, ride-on toys. Enclosed area in backyard.
*indoor activity - sensory bins, crafts, dancing, acting out stories, building forts, puzzles, baking,etc.
*daily circle time - stories, songs, special activities ie sharing circle
* safe and secure environment for children to nap, no need to supply playpen
*potty training
*hygiene - learning how to wash hands, tidy up
*safety - we learn how to hold hands, stay with the adult, look for cars, etc
I use a contract to protect both myself and my clients.

You must love pets as our house is also home to a very sweet and well trained medium sized dog and 2 cats (so friendly most people want to take them home), all of whom are friendly and have been raised around young children. |
