I am an ECE graduate, with over 26 years of daycare centre and then home daycare experience. (The past 18 years) I am also a seasoned Mother of four nice teenagers and a really cute five year old. I live in a smoke free home, with a fenced yard, in the older section of Dundas. I am approximately six to seven minutes from McMaster. I have taken first aid and CPR many times, and I have a current police check.
During the day we like to go for walks (if it's nice), read stories, sing songs, do puzzles, and play with a large assortment of toys, both inside and out. We learn colours, numbers, shapes and letters through interactive play.
The children in my care are treated with love and respect, as if they were my own. I am happy to assist with potty training and soother/bottle weaning also.
My hours are 6am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. My teenagers may be available for the occasional late pick-up, if you have an after hours meeting or appointment. I accept full time and part time children, from newborns to age 2.5. (Children already in my care, under 2.5 are welcome to continue with me until they are in school full time.)
