PROGRAM:
-Structured activities will be optional
Lots of outdoor play: Ride on toys, tricycle, wagon, car, basketball net, tent, etc.
Music time:CD’s, Piano, guitar, and various instruments, dancing and singing!
Arts and Crafts: playdough, finger-painting, coloring, supervised cutting and gluing, chalk,themed crafts
Dramatic Play: kitchen, dress up, castles, puppets
Story Time: library filled with books for all ages! Children will be read to and can look at books throughout the day!
Nap Time: 2 cots, a crib, a playpen, and a couch with safety rail. If children do not nap, an alternate quiet activity will be offered.
Snack and Meal Menu will be posted daily, as will the monthly activity calendar
Education: A diploma from Red River College in Developmental Services, and a degree from the University of Calgary in Community Rehabilitation and disability Studies.
I have worked at daycares, as a regular childcare worker and as a special needs worker. I have worked in schools as a paraprofessional, and at group homes and day programs with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
I have a great sense of humor and loads of patience!
My Training includes:
Childcare Level 1
First Aid and CPR training
Medications Training
Lifting and Transferring
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
Basic Physiotherapy
About my home:
I do have pets, one very friendly non- shedding small dog (cockapoo) and 2 very friendly cats, who do not scratch or bite, and who tolerate much more than any cat should have to tolerate! LOL |

A 2 week deposit must be made when your child first starts. This will be applied to the last 2 weeks of care.
Spots will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Once a deposit is put down, the spot is yours. |
