I am a retired kindergarten teacher fluent in French and English. I provide a loving, caring home environment for babies and toddlers (6 months - 2 years). I only take in very few children full time so they are all individually cared for.
I have a variety of indoor and outdoor activities - smoke and pet free - suitable for this age group. Some indoor activities include arts and crafts and various educational exercises such as colours, shapes, numbers, nursery rhymes etc in both languages. Outdoors, I have a large, fenced- in private backyard with a big sandpit, swing set, wading pool, tricycles and many toys. I do not provide lunch as I think that is best left up to the parents at such a young age but will heat food if instructed.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
