I am an experienced mother of two young girls, aged 7 and 2.5. I am committed to providing a safe, loving, fun, and educational environment for children. I recognize that as your caregiver I will have a part in shaping your child's growth and development, and I take that responsibility very seriously.
We do lots of great things here. Every day we do some (or all!) of the following: music, art, science, math, dancing, outdoor activities, puzzles, museums, playgroup, parks, nature walks, reading, etc! Activities are always age appropriate and are meant to challenge and develop the children's skills in a fun and supportive atmosphere. I have studied ECE principles in depth and use them with my own children.
I do not believe in punishment - we will work through any difficulties together in an environment of respect. I will always work to model appropriate behaviour for the children.
Walking distance to Adrienne Clarkson Elementary School, Farley Mowat Public School, St. Andrew School. Also near the following schools: Michaelle-Jean, Barrhaven Ecole, St. Emily, Monsignor Paul Baxter Ecole.
We eat healthy and yummy home-made food (and small amounts of treats occasionally). Television is restricted to minimal viewing or none at all (I am not anti-television exactly, I just think there are so many growing opportunities to be had...). We do some form of exercise every day.
I am particularly good with helping children to acquire language skills (reading/writing). |

We have a small dog (miniature poodle). He is hypoallergenic and used to (and good with) small children.
Please have your children immunized!
