Experienced, fun, outgoing, gentle, patient and loving mother of two wonderful children has decided to pair up her love of children and education to open up Bright Minds Home Day Camp. Our camp is a smoke free but animal friendly atmosphere as we have 2 cats and a big old lazy dog that are a very big part of our family. Our camp is now accepting applications for full and part time "campers" as well as before and after school "rangers", with rates starting at $15 a day.
Our home is big, bright and child friendly in the area of Gage Park. We are within very close proximatey to both Adelaide Hoodless public and St. Columba catholic schools, as well as the Children's Museum and of course, Gage Park!
This is what our camp offers children and parents:
A safe and fun educational environment that is not just a place to come and play but rather a place to play and learn
Hot and nutritous lunches and snacks following the Canadian Food Guide
Huge fenced-in outdoor play area with a pool in the summer and ice rink in the winter
2 seperate play areas with age appropriate toys. One area will be used for daily circle time, arts and crafts, a little library as well as our dedicated "kid's" computer with educational software and activities
Daily journal of how your child's day at camp was as well as what was eaten and bathroom habits
Weekly newsletter which contains the up coming week education theme, lunch and snack menu for the week, what our weekly trip and or special day will be and where will be going
Tax reciepts will be issued
An open door policy and suggestions! This is where your child will spend a greater part of his or her day, I feel that you should have some imput as to what we learn about!
