We will primarily service the areas that Acadia elementary accommodates as we are just around the corner and I have a 6 year old little guy that is currently attending grade one. Pick up and drop off (kindergarten included) available.
1. PAYMENT:
Can be scheduled weekly, bi weekly or monthly to your preference
2. HOURS are to accommodate working parents

Earlier/later and weekend care can possibly be arranged for shift work
3. SAFETY AND HEALTH come first
I will renew my child first aid immediately and have a record check from family services
I am also willing to provide a criminal record check if required
I am a vegetarian and natural food lover myself. I start part time school in the winter for dietetics and health courses that will compliment my existing knowledge of health through nutrition
Breakfast, lunch and dinner all provided for additional monthly fee (meat selections available at request )
4. CLEAN AND GERM FREE
We have a two story home, the upper level has no cats or dogs and is all hardwood
The second level has 2 adorable cats we can sneak down and visit for animal lovers ;)
All day home toys and materials will be sterilized nightly by health code standards
5. FAMILY HOME ENVIRONMENT
I plan to have the minimum amount of children needed to meet my needs to keep things personal and allow enough attention, care and love for each little guy/gal in my care
Daily routine will include art/learning activities, circle and music time, lunches shared at the table together lots of outdoor play (if the Calgary weather is not to harsh) and lots of hugs
Discipline is parent directed but will focus on the positive action that could replace the negative behaviour. Every incident is an opportunity for learning and discovery at this age. We will enforce respect for ourselves and others, using our manors, and promotion of individuality for resolution.
6. WEEKLY REPORTS
As a parent who has been on both sides of the working parent/childcare provider spectrum personally, I know what it feels like missing out on those special moments our children create for us each and every day
Each parent will receive a log at the end of the week highlighting their child’s accomplishments, behaviour and mannerism opportunities, things we have learned, “special moments”, pictures of special events (Holiday activities) and an area for you to leave notes and comments you might have forgotten to remind me of during the busy work week
