Hi, my name is Anna and I have a dayhome offering low ratios, healthy meals and lots of outings.
I come from a Recreational Therapy background, I have my First Aid and am familiar with special needs. I also have my criminal records check and children's welfare check available.
There are kid-friendly pets in my home, it is non-smoking, and there is a lot of space devoted to children.
As a mother of two boys, I encourage my kids to play hard, make some noise and get dirty, but we also devoted quiet time to reading, arts and crafts.
I have a 5 year old son who goes to afternoon Kindergarten and a 7 year son who has started grade 2 ( both at Sam Livingston School ). I am accepting kids from Sam Livingston, Andrew Sibbald and St. Boniface schools, as we are located on the bus route from these schools.
I feel that recreational programs are important to kids and would be willing to work them into our schedule, but after school I believe kids need some rest from their big day. Snacks are provided, and I am open to your input in making a schedule for your kids. ( maybe including their homework? )
