I provide care for children ages one to five, full or half days. I would have room for before and after school care for ages 10 to 12 on school days (not p/d days) I enjoy young children, taking them for walks, reading, singing songs and rhymes and counting with them. We are out daily to play, and to walk to the school bus. This past summer we had outings once a week at the pool or water park. (One of my children is trained as a swim instructor). We do crafts; bake with children of appropriate age, chalk draw on the driveway, blow bubbles, play w/playdoh.
Most children arrive between 8 and 9a.m. We walk the dog at 9:oo then have a snack. Craft or park next, then clean up and begin lunch by 11:45. Leave for bus by 12:45 (earlier in winter depending on numbers of children and snow suit difficulties.)Nap from 1:30 to 3:00,snack then play indoor or out till home time.
Admission conditions
My hours are 7am to 5pm. Going home time is important as I have evening obligations of my own. We have a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, 9 mos. old. The breed, breeder, and dog where carefully chosen to be compatable with a home care situation where there are young children. Skipper is Mellowing nicely. He is kenneled as needed, including during meals and snacks. Several family members have allergies, yet have not been bothered by this single coated breed. Lori
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
