I am a qualified E.C.E. with twenty-five years experience in providing care for children. I provide a safe and happy environment, for all my children, with all the comforts of home. I believe that play is a child's work, but I incorporate elements of education into their daily routines. My strengths are that I love children and I'm committed and reliable to assist in a family's needs.
I offer a large play area with a large selection of toys to enhance play. We do daily circle time (focused learning) and story-time. The program also includes daily outdoor time in my fully fenced back-yard with seasonal age-appropriate toys or walk to the local park. Local trips to Play-group and Story-time at the library both community resources which enhance the children's experience. I celebrate each child's birthday and various events and celebrations throughout the year. We have a celebration bar b cue once a year for children and parents, so all have a great time getting to know each other. I also have back-up care in place of emergencies/sickness/holidays, this service is provided by a caregiver that we get together with often, so the children are comfortable with the change.
