My dayhome has been open for almost 4 years now, and this is the first time I have needed to advertise since opening. Unfortunately at this time two children in my care are leaving at the same time meaning I have some rare spaces available!
I offer a low child to care-giver ratio, thereby allowing each child’s individual needs to be met in a nurturing environment with lots of one-on-one time.
The playroom is in a large walk out basement with lots of big windows. There are over 1000sq. feet dedicated to the children, with toys being rotated on a weekly basis. We also a have a large, completely fenced in and secure back yard that includes a slide, sandbox, play house and numerous other outdoor toys and activities.
My home is very well kept, clean and sanitary. All foods are fresh, healthy and prepared safely. Breakfast, lunch, two snacks, and beverages are provided.
Other important points are:
Circle time and sign language used everyday
Age appropriate lessons, shapes, numbers, animals etc.
Crafts, dancing, basic music instruction
Written daily reports for the parents
Surprise Monthly visits from Agency
Back-up care assistance
Subsidies available
Lots of fun and laughs
Finding good childcare is no easy task and my goal is to care for children the same as I care for my children.
To ensure everyone is happy, spots are filled on a 'good fit' basis and not first come first served. Thank you for your understanding.
