The Riverview Heights Daycare is fully licensed since February 1998 with the Ministry of Health and under the Community Care Facility Licensing Act. We strive to:
Provide children with a quality program of numerous learning experiences in a safe environment.
I am the manager and the main childcare provider and carry an Infant & Toddler ECE License, Food Safe Certificate, St John Ambulance First Aid Certificate, up to date Criminal Record Check and have teaching experience prier working with young children including Qualified and Licensed ECE staff working in daycare.
We create an environment that encourages self-expression of thoughts and feelings and provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences and healthy interactions among children and between children and educators, which will allow children to:
Grow to their greatest potential socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically.
Grow in understanding and love for themselves, their families and others around them.
Develop the ability to problem solve, reason, question, and experiment through math, science, social studies, music, art, language and literature experiences while they are playing and having those activities.
Develop each child’s sense of self through listening and communication skills.
Enjoy creative expression through various art mediums, music, drama.
We base our child care and guidance on models which focus on developing the
whole child—socially, cognitively, emotionally, and physically.
Our learning programs are developed on what each individual child is able to do, by creating an environment that will enhance and facilitate children own powers of thinking through the combination of all the expressive, communicative and cognitive
languages. We firmly believe in offering a program that promotes healthy development by offering warm, safe, positive and fun surroundings where they will have the opportunity to mature into unique and independent individuals.
