Hello, I'm Rachelle!
I have been offering Daycare in my home for over 7 years and feel that it has been a truly rewarding experience for myself, my family and the little ones I look after.
I'm a mom to three awesome boys. They are 5, 8 and 11 years old and attend Katzie Elementary nearby. We're currently looking for another friend to join us during the day/before, after school in our Clayton Heights home. I will provide a loving, healthy, secure, stimulating, and FUN place for your child to play, learn and grow. My home based Daycare is a home away from home for our Daycare friends :)
We paint, read books, do crafts, play games, watch movies on rainy days, bake and spend tons of time outdoors. We regularly attend story-time at the Public Library and have play dates with friends in the neighbourhood. We have many playgrounds within walking distance from our home and go for walks everyday.
I focus on helping children make healthy choices, develop manners and foster social skills. I am positive and enthusiastic and enjoy being with, teaching and learning from children on a daily basis. I value a child’s need to feel safe and confident in their environment, and feel early experiences are key to stimulating future growth and development. I support children’s individual feelings and desire to learn, as well as promote their individuality and self awareness by allowing for choices and constant support. Our day is semi-structured with lots of free play, time for naps and age appropriate activities.
I have a University Degree, First Aid Training, have had a Criminal Record check done through Surrey CCRR Child Care Options, clean driving record and great references.
I appreciate how challenging and important the search for childcare that fits all of your needs can be, and I am open to working with you to suit the needs of your family.
I believe that through mutual respect and open communication a successful relationship between you, your child and my family will prosper.
I do ask that parents provide lunches and diapers.
My home is pet free and smoke free.
I provide annual Daycare receipts.
The cost of care is $40.00 per day.
I can offer school pick up/before and after school care for the right family.
