I am a mother of a 14 month old, and an experienced teacher of six years. I have taught Kindergarten for 3 years and have experience with children with special needs. I provide home daycare in Milton in a quiet neighborhood, for full-time, part-time, before and after school care or occasional care. I have my First Aid and CPR; and I am in the process of registering with the HCCR (Halton Child Care Registry), and will be completing all the necessary police, Children’s Aid Society, fire, health and safety checks.
I provide a safe and loving environment, with lots of fun activities, such as puzzles, stories, arts and crafts, theme days, cooking, indoor and outdoor play (backyard and trips to the local park). An educational program is provided to the children teaching them the basics for words, sounds, numbers, alphabet, shapes, and paper and pencil activities (when ready). Children are given there own private space to nap according to there own schedule. I provide healthy snacks and lunches for each child.
Before and After Care children will be provided a snack and will be encouraged to complete their homework while at the daycare. Assistance to homework will be given if needed.
I will also take part time Kindergarten children providing no transportation is required (I can pick up or drop off at the closest bus stop-walking distance from home).
