I will be opening a day home next month (December 2008) and would like to arrange in advance for mothers like yourself to come by,see my home, meet myself and my daughter and feel safe and comfortable with leaving your child in my care.
Rates are reasonable, but will fluctuate depending on how many children you have,ages and temperament. I will accept any age from 1 year and beyond. I will ask of you to provide them with a lunch and two snacks, as many children have allergies and also as a parent I know that I would feel more comfortable knowing that my child is eating exactly what I want them to be.
Transportation would be preferred but if not possible can be negotiated.
A little about myself, for your peace of mind:
My name is Ashley and I was employed last year in Edmonton as supervisor in a daycare where I looked after children from ages newborn to 5 years old. I worked there a year and moved back to BC last October to have my daughter and be closer to mine and my husbands families. I want nothing more than to be able to stay at home with my daughter during the first few years of life as they are so precious and hope to be able to do so with opening a day home.
