Description
I am a trained IBI instructor therapist with experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, using applied behavioural analysis techniques.
For families recieving the direct funding or for those who are on the wait list and would like to start programming with their child. If you are not currently under the direction of a Clinical Supervisor I can perform an assesment of your childs needs and develop a teaching program designed around your child's strengths and areas that need improvement. Programs may include but are not limited to; fine motor development, social skills, and communication issues.
While the programs are structured and data will be collected for all of the programs, I am a firm believer in "per opportunity" teaching, that is, I will teach in the natural environment as opportunities present themselves. Incidental teaching allows children with ASD to apply their skills in real life situations.
I am also able to provide discrete trial teaching, a style that focuses on repetition, relying heavily on intense and structured data driven techniques.
Please note that I am flexible with these techniques and will use whatever teaching strategy is best for your child.
Admission conditions
I am willing to work within your home if you preferr. If your home is not available for 1:1 sessions, I do have other arrangements.
Due to the intensity of 1:1 teaching, I charge an hourly rate.
For more information please do not hesitate to call.
If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
