INTRODUCTION
- Knowing your child has fun while you are at work is a rewarding feeling as the child is safe, loved, and happy when surrounded by buddies. I like to provide quality care in a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment where the children can interact and learn basic skills like manners and respect, sharing and support.
- My goal is for your child to be happy, secure, and able to develop his or her true potential in a safe, nurturing home environment, with other children ages 6 months to 3 years.
- Busy Buddies is not just a place for your child to pass time while you are at work: I offer a caring and fun environment to encourage creativity and learning with educational programming behind a range of thoughtfully planned activities.
- I am an experienced daycare provider having cared for children from 10 months to 6 years old, with up to 5 children at one time, simply because I love to interact with children.
TIME & LOCATION
- Busy Buddies Daycare is open from Monday to Friday. Hours are 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- We are conveniently located close to the Leslie subway station on Leslie Street just two blocks north of Leslie/Sheppard (at Leslie/Nymark).
PHILOSOPHY
- Busy Buddies offers a highly interactive, fun and educational atmosphere where we believe in using reward rather than discipline to nurture the children in a positive and enjoyable home daycare. I am always open to communicate, and I welcome any questions or suggestions you may have.
- Each child is entitled to care that is specific to their needs and developmental levels, but I always make sure that each day is inclusive for all children, so they learn to interact and be considerate.
- I plan a structured day, with plenty of rest breaks, with room for flexibility as needed to provide an individualised environment for each child to blossom and learn. My goal is to provide worry-free daycare so you can focus on your work, while your child is focused on having fun and receiving TLC.
ACTIVITIES
- Busy Buddies offers fun scheduled activities such as, arts and crafts, music and dance, and games.
- Busy Buddies offers a story circle time with minimum of 1/2 an hour of reading and story time.
- Busy Buddies offers a supply of books and safe toys to create settings for children to make choices and learn about peer interaction while they exercise their imagination.
NUTRITION
- Busy Buddies is a peanut and refined sugar free daycare, offering nutritionally balanced snacks and meals according to the Canadian Food Intake guide, lots of fruits and veggies, home-made muffins and cookies, so you know exactly what your child is eating!
SAFETY
- Busy Buddies is a very safe environment: I have a simple evacuation plan with a direct exit to the backyard. My daycare is a pet free and non-smoking environment. |
