Tiny Tikes Dayhome is a small, safe, cohort of 6 children only. We are known for progressive, age appropriate activities with a high successful transition to Kindergarten. It has a unique, scheduled routine, that instills a successful love and joy of learning. Full Time Only Dayhome for ages 12 months - 4 yrs. of age. We combine a 5 day full morning Learning environment, with the convenient benefit of a cozy afternoon Day-home environment. Large backyard, close to 3 parks. Licensed by the city of Calgary.
Tiny Tikes nurtures concepts through dancing, language, science and social development in a fun and happy play, which promotes a love of learning for life! The Schedule is modified for each child’s personal developmental stage, and includes the following...
* Language development through: music, poems, letter & story boards
* Science/math development through: block counting, sizing, shapes, opposites, same, colours, textures, counting number recognition, puzzles, games.
* Gross/fine motor skills through: painting, crafting, colouring, tracing, finger play, ball play, dance routines, park play.
*Social development through: working through separation issues, learning to feel loved, nurtured by others, age appropriate independence, successes, learning to care for others.
