General Information:
Apple Tree Daycare provides a warm, safe, environment for children ages 18 months to 5 years. I welcome children from all ethnic, religious and language backgrounds. Apple Tree is a licensed Family Day care with the city of Vancouver. All family members have had a legal background check.
Philosophy:
Apple Tree Daycare provides opportunities for children to grow through Montessori work, creative movement, language, books, arts and crafts, music and caring relationships. My role as the caregiver is to provide an atmosphere of learning where children can participate in developmentally appropriate cognitive, physical and emotional activities. I recognize the importance of the early years in the development of a child’s values and self-esteem, and aim to foster a childcare experience which emphasizes trust, respect and kindness.
